Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our handcrafted Japanese cutlery.

How should I care for my high-carbon steel knife?

To prevent rust and maintain the edge, hand wash your knife immediately after use with mild soap, dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth, and apply a thin layer of food-grade mineral oil before storing.

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, we ship our knives worldwide via premium couriers. Shipping costs and delivery times vary by destination and are calculated at checkout.

Can I put my Karasu knives in the dishwasher?

No. Dishwashers use high heat and abrasive detergents that can damage the wooden handles and dull or chip the delicate high-carbon steel blades. Always hand wash your knives.

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return policy for unused items in their original packaging. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact our support team to initiate a return or exchange.

Are your knives double-beveled or single-beveled?

We carry both. Most of our Gyuto and Santoku knives are double-beveled (50/50) for versatility, while traditional styles like the Yanagiba and Deba are single-beveled for precision.

Do you provide sharpening services?

We currently do not offer in-house sharpening services, but we provide detailed guides and sell high-quality whetstones to help you maintain your edge at home.
